Hawk Performance Street Compound Brake Pads
HB560F.677 - Hawk HPS Brake Pads;
Hawk High Performance Street (HPS) disc brake pads are legendary for increasing stopping power on street-legal vehicles, and enhancing the performance of your vehicle's braking system is easy with the Hawk Performance Street HPS compound. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction than stock pads and can deliver 20-40% more stopping power and greater resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Reduced brake fade translates to improved pedal feel and more consistent performance with a durable pad that generates less dust.
Operating Temperatures: 37-370°C
Optimal Temperature Range: 37-260°C
HB560N.677 - Hawk HP Plus Brake Pads;
Hawk High Performance Plus (HP+) disc brake pads utilize a proprietary, high-tech iron-carbon friction material developed and manufactured for performance autocross, Solo II, and track day applications. The iron-carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque ratings than other competitive materials. These pads offer a significant increase in braking torque and temperature range compared to OEM pads and are typically recommended for beginners with little or no track experience looking for an upgrade from stock pads.
Operating Temperatures: 37-430°C
Optimal Temperature Range: 150-315°C
HB560G.677 - Hawk DTC-60 Brake Pads;
Hawk's DTC-60 racing compound offers extremely high deceleration and superior modulation and release characteristics. This is not an entry-level racing compound and should not be used on the street. It should be used when you're an experienced driver with track experience and have had problems with less aggressive compounds overheating or not providing enough bite.
Hawk DTC-60 racing brake pads have the same temperature range as Hawk's DTC-70s, but produce less braking torque. Many drivers of smaller, lighter cars often use DTC-60 pads on the front and DTC-30 pads on the rear, while on larger, heavier, high-performance, or racing cars, DTC-60 pads are more often used on the rear and DTC-70 pads on the front.
Operating Temperatures: 205-870°C
Optimum Temperature Range: 370-595°C
